SHOETREE
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (these “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the app “ShoeTree” (the “App”), provided by an independent individual developer (the “Developer”). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all dealings between the Developer and users in connection with use of the App.
Article 2 (Description of Service)
The App is a tool for registering leather shoes and similar items, recording their care, and managing wear history. It offers a free plan and a paid plan (Pro) that removes the limit on the number of registered shoes.
Article 3 (Accounts)
- The App automatically creates an anonymous account the first time it is launched.
- Users may optionally link an Apple ID, Google account, or email address, enabling their data to be restored after a device change or reinstall.
- Users may delete their account and all associated data at any time using the App’s built-in functionality.
Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)
When using the App, users must not:
- Engage in conduct that violates any law or public order and morals
- Interfere with, or engage in conduct likely to interfere with, the operation of the App
- Gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems
- Infringe the rights of other users or third parties
- Engage in any other conduct the Developer deems inappropriate
Article 5 (Subscriptions and Payment)
- The paid plan (Pro) is an auto-renewing subscription processed through the App Store or Google Play.
- Pricing and the billing cycle are shown on the App’s purchase screen before you buy.
- To cancel, use the account settings of the store through which you purchased (App Store or Google Play). Deleting your account within the App does not automatically cancel the subscription itself.
- Refund requests are subject to the policies of Apple or Google, whichever platform the purchase was made through.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
- Content recorded or displayed by the App (such as suggested care timing) is provided for reference only; the Developer does not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
- The App is not intended to provide medical or health advice.
- Except in cases of the Developer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the App.
Article 7 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service)
The Developer may change the content of the App, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to users.
Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)
The Developer may revise these Terms without notice to users when the Developer deems it necessary. Revised Terms take effect once made known, including by display within the App.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer’s address as the court of first instance.
